The vision to help orphans started way back when John Mark was only 12 years. What inspired him was the poor conditions in which he grew in (Always in lack or need and general poverty) his family almost failed to afford a meal and going to school was almost impossible.
Gospel Artist and Song Writer John Mark is a man who always had a yearning for God to use him and always cried out for an Opportunity for God to see him through so that he may become a Blessing to the need of the World.
God answered his cry when he discovered that he could sing and that he was gifted with a voice like he has.
He started by Leading Sunday School, Choir (singing Alto), Leading Worship and Praise Sessions as young man both at school and in Church (Four Square Gospel Church, Mpumudde , Jinja District). He began Composing Gospel Music about God’s love and How He is so loves His People. By then he so happened to discover of his calling to take up music and His Ministry growing to higher and higher heights.
In 2003, John Mark set out to realize his Vision of setting up an Orphanage after the release of His first Album called “Yandaga Omukwano” which means “God Showed His Love”. What motivated him is the realization that God had blessed his first Album and that people were so much in love with the Music and they showed a lot of Support and encouragement.
John Mark began with 4 (four) kids in the year 2003 while they were still in the homes of the care takers. He (working with a few Volunteers) could work Hard to provide Clothing, Food, Medical Care and Education (as seen in the Photographs). Thank God has been faithful to the Ministry, releasing one album after another providing an opportunity to help more kids as entrust in his care. Now that the ministry (Organization) has a bit expanded, we have a total 20 kids more and more kids will reached with support, prayers from friends and well-wishers like you.
